Young Ashton-under-Lyne Girl pays Easter tribute to ambulance crews

A SEVEN-year-old girl from Ashton-under-Lyne has won hearts with her imaginative Easter scene, dedicated to North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) crews.

Ava-Grace, who lives near Ashton-under-Lyne ambulance station, created the display for a recent school competition after drawing inspiration from the emergency vehicles she often sees passing by.

‘We live right by the station, so we regularly see ambulances and wave at the crews,’ said Ava-Grace’s mum. ‘We were sitting in the car thinking of a theme when one drove past, and Ava-Grace said, ‘Can we do an ambulance theme?’

Combining her love of farms and animals, Ava-Grace crafted an Easter scene honouring local ambulance workers.
