Hyde pub spreads Easter joy with Egg donation to Tameside Hospital

The King William pub in Hyde donates eggs to the children’s ward at Tameside Hospital

A HYDE pub has brought smiles to the faces of young patients at Tameside Hospital by donating over 700 Easter eggs.

The King William IV, affectionately known as the ‘King Bill’, collected a total of 771 chocolate eggs through the generosity of its patrons and staff. The initiative aimed to provide a festive treat to children spending Easter in the hospital.

David Parrott, representing the pub, delivered the eggs to the hospital and thanked the local community for their overwhelming support in making the donation possible.

Hospital staff were delighted by the gesture, noting that such community efforts play a significant role in lifting the spirits of young patients during challenging times.

This isn’t the first time the King Bill has demonstrated its commitment to local causes. In the past, the pub has organised various fundraising events.
