A TAMESIDE bakery was one of just 20 businesses invited to exhibit at Greater Manchester’s largest entrepreneurial event.
Blessing from Luchi Bakes described the recent Festival of Enterprise as “a great networking event to meet new customers and potential businesses to collaborate with”.
For the third time, GM Business Growth Hub welcomed over 500 attendees to Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre as start-ups, entrepreneurs, sole traders and the self-employed were welcomed.

Luchi Bakes were joined by well-known business leaders like Nadine Merabi, Creative Director of her namesake fashion company, who delivered a speech on her journey, and Amman Ahmed, Founder of Music for Pets, who shared his unique approach to building a niche business.
Yvonne Sampson, Head of Enterprise at GM Business Growth Hub, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to have Luchi Bakes and the other businesses exhibiting and sharing their journeys on the day.
“This event was specifically designed to celebrate and amplify the amazing entrepreneurs and small businesses we have here in Greater Manchester.
“From the expert workshops to a pitching corner for businesses to showcase their ideas and products – every aspect was about creating an environment where people can feel proud about what they do.”
GM Business Growth Hub also offers a support programme for the self-employed and start-up businesses across the city region’s 10 boroughs – including Tameside and Oldham.
EnterprisingYou has supported over 4,000 entrepreneurs and small businesses across Greater Manchester since 2020.
