PEOPLE from Tameside living with dementia and their carers are being invited to have fun by making music together.
The Dementia Music Cafe, which is free to attend, aims to help people with dementia to communicate and express themselves.
It takes place at Broadoak Community Centre, on Broadoak Road in Ashton-under-Lyne, every Wednesday morning from 10.30am to midday.
No previous music experience is needed, and all people living with dementia including carers are welcome.
The cafe is hosted by local mental health charity Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind.
It’s designed for people living with dementia to make new friends, as well as improving their mood and wellbeing.
