Tailor-made triumph for Mossley bridal business

A MOSSLEY bridal studio has stitched up a top wedding award for being a cut above the rest.

Giulietta Bridal alteration studio was recognised at a glittering awards ceremony in Knutsford.

The bridal tailoring specialists, based in Weir Mill on Manchester Road, has been named as the North West’s regional winner in the Seamstress / tailor category of the 2025 Wedding Industry Awards.

It could also lead to further recognition in the National Final in London on January 22 – much to the delight of owner Samantha Newton.

“It’s a real honour to be awarded the winner and to represent my sector amongst some very talented wedding industry vendors,” she said.

“We are lucky to have some fantastic, talented and hard-working professionals in the North West. I look forward to representing the region alongside the other winners in January.”

The awards saw 27,300 votes cast for 1,500 entrants and was based on average voter scores and customer feedback from the past year, as well as an extensive judging panel.

“The Wedding Industry Awards is the most rigorous, respected and coveted awards in the UK wedding industry,” said the awards founder Damian Bailey, “so the regional winners really are at the top of their game.

“The competition is tough, the standards very high indeed, but thanks to over 27,000 client votes and our panel of more than 150 expert judges, the regional winners have risen to the top in an industry that absolutely demands the best.”

The UK wedding industry is estimated to be worth around £15 billion annually.
