The Tameside Toy Appeal is an annual initiative run by Tameside Council and Action Together, to ensure that every child in the borough experiences the magic of Christmas, no matter their circumstances.

Last year, the appeal made a significant impact, delivering gifts to over 1,000 children and young people in need. Additionally, the generosity of local supporters helped raise £5,000 to purchase even more toys.

How You Can Help

If you’d like to get involved in the Tameside Toy Appeal, there are plenty of ways to make a difference:

  • Donate Toys: Drop off new, unwrapped toys suitable for children aged 0–18 at designated collection points, including libraries and community centres.
  • Make a Monetary Donation: Financial contributions are used to purchase gifts and essentials for children.
