A DUKINFIELD woman has died after being involved in a road traffic collision in Mossley.
Joan Glue, 72, passed away following the incident that occurred on Stamford Road on Wednesday, September 18.
And her family has paid tribute to a ‘much-loved’ relative.
In a statement, members said: “She was a loving mother and grandmother.
“She enjoyed socialising with her friends at Beatrix House, usually playing bingo and watching films on movie afternoons.
“She also liked going out for meals and shopping.
“She was so proud of her family and loved showing her grandchildren off to everyone she met.
“She was an avid fan of the soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street, never missing an episode and was a great friend to many, as well as being a much-loved member of the Glue family.”
Greater Manchester Police’s serious collision investigation unit is continuing to investigate and has appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone or doorbell footage, from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
