THERE will be fun and entertainment across the town as Stalybridge Carnival celebrates its 48th anniversary.
Stalybridge Festival Committee has been working hard over the last six months on preparations for the special occasion on Sunday, June 23.
They have teamed up with Huddersfield Canal Society and Stalybridge and Dukinfield Rotary Club to provide a fun day for all the family.
The main event on Sunday will include the Carnival Parade, which starts at 1pm as the celebrations work its way along High Street from Bayley Street to Armentieres Square.
Cheetham Park will be the place for a large fun fair, craft and community stalls, hot food stalls and live entertainment.
