STALYBRIDGE honoured the nation’s heroes at the town’s service to commemorate 80 years since D-Day.
Members of the Royal British Legion organised the ceremony at its war memorial on Wednesday, June 5 for people to pay their respects to those who served their country in the Normandy landings.
