STAGECOACH Manchester has donated nearly 200 Easter gifts to children at Tameside Hospital.
The gifts were collected by staff working at the bus operator’s depot in Ashton-under-Lyne, where the hospital is based.
They included more than 150 Easter eggs, as well as books and crayons, for youngsters staying in the hospital over the holiday period.
Fittingly, the gifts were delivered to the hospital by a bus, which featured the message ‘Happy Easter from #TheATeam’.
Rob Jones, the Managing Director at Stagecoach Manchester, said: “All children deserve an Easter egg at Easter, especially those having to stay in hospital over the long weekend.
“I’m really proud of our team at Ashton and we will continue to support the Greater Manchester community in whatever way we can.”
