Nominate a local charity to receive shopping centre’s support

A SHOPPING centre in Ashton-under-Lyne is looking for a local charity to support for the forthcoming year.

Ladysmith Shopping Centre is opening it up to residents and businesses to nominate local causes close to their hearts.

The year-long partnership would run from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, so the chosen charity can raise money and awareness alongside the shopping centre.

The organisation in question would also benefit from dedicated fundraising opportunities throughout the year and exposure on Ladysmith’s digital platforms.

People can nominate a charity by following the competition instructions on the Ladysmith Shopping Centre’s Facebook or Instagram pages. You have until midday on March 28 to get your nominations in.

Ian Pratt, the Centre Manager at Ladysmith, said: “Selecting a charity of the year is something we hold close to our hearts and is our way of giving back to great causes.

“Community is important to us and we want to support where we can.”
