OLDER people in Tameside can benefit from somewhere warm and cosy to go to during these cold winter months.
Age UK Tameside has launched its Winter Warm Hub at its centre on Katherine Street in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Older residents can go along for a free two-course meal and refreshments.
Afterwards, they can spend some time in the lounge watching TV, listening to the radio or surfing the internet in an IT suite.
There will also be winter warm giveaways such as blankets, hats, socks and gloves.
It runs every Monday to Friday from 1.30pm to 4pm until March 29.
