VOLUNTEERS from the Forever Green Community Group have been spreading festive cheer at their annual Christmas afternoon tea, hosted at the Oasis venue in Haughton Green, Denton.
The event, a tradition now in its tenth year, saw more than 70 residents coming together to celebrate the festive season on Tuesday, December 12.
Attendees feasted on an array of sandwiches, cakes and refreshments. Those unable to attend the festivities in person were not left out. Special treats were prepared and delivered directly to the doors of residents who couldn’t make it.
The event was made possible thanks to hard-working volunteers in the community.
