A CLUB in Ashton-under-Lyne raised hundreds of pounds for a national charity by holding a special fundraiser.
Football legend Bryan Robson signed Manchester United and England shirts, which were raffled and auctioned off by Waterloo and Taunton Conservative Club.
The club raised £610 which will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Leon Tamcken, Club Chairman, said: “We are so pleased to be able to donate this money to a charity that funds the search for a cure for Motor Neurone Disease, that affects around 5,000 people in the UK at any one time.”
