AUDENSHAW residents are being warmly invited to kickstart their festive season by supporting their local Christmas lights switch-on.
The fun will begin at 4pm on Friday, November 24, at Ryecroft Hall on Manchester Road.
There will be entertainment, refreshments, food trucks, craft stalls, festive carols and even a Santa’s Grotto, before the tree is switched on at 7pm.
The event has been organised by Tameside Council, in partnership with Ryecroft Hall Community Association and Audenshaw councillors Nick Axford, Charlotte Martin and Teresa Smith.
If that’s not enough for you, there will also be the Ryecroft Festive Movie Nights on November 30 and December 7, with tickets available very soon.
That will be topped off by the Memorial Gardens lights switch-on, supported by local businesses, taking place on December 8 at 6pm.
