GET ready to applaud, laugh, and cheer, because the Hyde Festival Theatre is back in action for the 2023/24 season!
Entirely run by passionate volunteers, the theatre has been a cultural hub for the community for more than 70 years. It provides a platform for local talent, a place for families to enjoy the arts, and an opportunity for all to experience the magic of live theatre.
After a summer filled with dedication, sweat, and the tireless efforts of our amazing volunteers, Hyde Festival Theatre is ready to welcome you back for an unforgettable year of entertainment.
The stage is set, the lights are up, and the seats are waiting for you to fill them with laughter, tears, and thunderous applause.
What makes Hyde Festival Theatre a truly special venue is that it’s entirely run by volunteers who pour their hearts and souls into making every performance a magical experience. From the directors who bring stories to life, to the actors who captivate us with their talent, and the backstage crew who work their magic behind the scenes – our volunteers are the heartbeat of this theatre, and their hard work over the summer has been nothing short of extraordinary.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our dedicated volunteers who have worked tirelessly to get the theatre ready for what is sure to be an incredible season ” says Dan Oliver-Grant, Chairman of Hyde Festival Theatre. “Their unwavering commitment is what keeps the theatre open for so many to enjoy whether they are on or off the stage.”
The 2023/24 season promises a spectacular line-up of productions, from youth productions, musicals and the annual pantomime productions. Whether you’re a theatre aficionado or someone just looking for a night of pure entertainment, Hyde Festival Theatre has something for everyone.
