Suspected cannabis farm discovered at Ashton-under-Lyne pub

A SUSPECTED cannabis farm is believed to have been discovered by police in a disused pub in Ashton-under-Lyne.

The Greater Manchester force raided the The Woodman, on Oldham Road, earlier today (Friday, May 26).

Police are visible outside the building.

The pub is believed to have been closed for about 12 months.

This is the second raid in Tameside this week, with police discovering a cannabis farm at the former Bull’s Head pub in Stalybridge.
