A fire has destroyed a block of flats in Ashton overnight.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service remains on the scene at Good Hope Mill, on Bentinck Street, after the blaze broke out.
Part of the roof has collapsed after people were evacuated from 40 properties and officers in four appliances have been joined by an ambulance crew.
