A STALYBRIDGE restaurant will be closed ‘until further notice’ after a fire broke out.
Firefighters were called to Deli Felice, on Market Street, after a blaze affected the premises on Tuesday, March 7.

Smoke was seen billowing from the building in Stalybridge’s town centre as fire engines from around the area attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “Just before 3pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 7th March), three fire engines from Hollins, Ashton and Stalybridge fire stations were called to reports of a fire involving a shop on Market Street, Stalybridge.
“Crews arrived quickly at scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatuses used a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
“Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour and 20 minutes.”
