THE BODY of a man was found as police officers launched a large response following reports over his safety.
A number of emergency vehicles attended Printworks Road after what is believed to have been a dog walker making the discovery.
And Greater Manchester Police has confirmed the man was found when they searched the vicinity on Tuesday, February 21.
They also said they are not looking for anyone in relation to the incident.
A spokesman for the force told The Correspondent: “GMP were called to the concern for the welfare of a man at around 6pm.
“Sadly, a man was found deceased and is believed to be non-suspicious.”
