PEOPLE living on one Mossley street have showed once again festive spirit is overflowing by hosting their own lights switch-on.
Father Christmas dropped in on the festivities at Andrew Street and gave out gifts to children – plus some big kids – before the switch was flicked.
And when it was on Saturday, December 3, the displays did not disappoint as people’s creative sides definitely came to the fore.
Residents braved dropping temperatures – although the snow held off – to make sure Christmas was brought in on Andrew Street with a hearty rendition of Jingle Bells.
The event was a real hit, particularly with the children, as Santa did not forget anyone on his nice list.
