RESIDENTS and commuters in Tameside are experiencing difficulties caused by separate power cuts in the area.
Electricity North West (ENWL) says about 660 people are affected by one incident, which is believed to have left street lights in Stalybridge town centre off.
Deli Felice restaurant on Market Street has cancelled bookings because of the issues, which may impact people heading back from Manchester on the train.
ENWL says that outage, described as being in Stalybridge North, is hoped to be resolved by about 7.40pm.
They say engineers are on site currently working on resolving the problem.
Meanwhile, it is said users in Ashton are also seeing power go out, with a number of customers close to Tameside Hospital and towards the Hazelhurst area being affected.
ENWL says that may last until about 9.20pm tonight (Wednesday, November 23).
