A DENTON-BASED firm is officially among the best in Greater Manchester after scooping a prestigious award.
RVA Surveyors, which is based at Alphagate Drive on the Denton Rock development, was named winner of the Learning and Development Excellence prize at the recent Greater Manchester Chambers of Commerce Excellence Awards.
The honour, which came as a surprise as the company did not even know it was shortlisted until the event at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse, came after the company ran several programmes throughout the year.
From junior management training to extensions of their Graduate Scheme, they allowed RVA to stay committed to its values of promoting from within.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic started, RVA Surveyors have expanded their business from just 50 employees to more than 130.
This has helped meet an increased client demand.
The award, sponsored by telecommunications services firm Avoira, was presented to RVA’s managing director Anthony Hughes.
He said: “We are so pleased to have won the award for Learning and Development.
“To have the hard work our team have undertaken in recent years be recognised, is a fantastic achievement.
“Our teams have built, developed, and continued to evolve the business over the last two years.
“We are incredibly proud of the dedication they have put in to get us this far, and we can’t wait to roll out further development courses.”
