DUKINFIELD found itself turned into a Sexy Beast as it was the centre of filming for a major new TV series.
Part of Queen Street was closed on Thursday, September 15 and Tuesday, September 20 as cameras rolled on shooting for the Paramount Plus show of that name.

A total of £1,524 is being recovered from Sexy Beast Productions Ltd after Tameside Council agreed to shut the thoroughfare between its junction with Hill Street and its junction with Lyme Terrace from 8am until 6.30pm on both days.
And Jigsaw Homes gave permission for properties to be used.
Sexy Beast is a prequel to the 2000 film of the same title that starred Ray Winstone and Sir Ben Kingsley, which saw their characters descend into London’s criminal underbelly during the volatile 1990s.
It was originally meant to be filmed and screened two years ago but it was scrapped, then revived.
Paramount Plus describes the series as “a love story between two men — à la Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”
The drama will star James McArdle as Gal Dove and Emun Elliott as Don Logan, the roles played by Winstone and Sir Ben respectively.
