THERE is no stopping The Angel, Dukinfield, who have been crowned division one darts champions in the Audenshaw & Denton 501 Summer League.
The success follows The Angel’s league and cup double in the winter league.
In the summer competition, they were runaway winners collecting 64 points from their eight fixtures, well clear of runners-up The Fox Tavern, Stalybridge, who had 40.
It was tighter in division two where winners The Gardeners Arms, Hyde, amassed 53 points from their eight games, 13 ahead of runners-up The Sun Inn, Audenshaw.
The winter league is about to start.
