HYDE Market got into the jubilee jubilation with a fundraising community event of its own.
Local councillors got involved, along with other familiar figures as union flags dominated the area.
The multi-cultural scene that has become familiar during Queen Elizabeth’s reign was also on show with foods from across the world being made and snapped up.
Games were played and hampers were raffled, raising £100 for a fund to install a defibrillator.
Prizes were given out to the best home made crown and entertainment provided by, among others, the town’s Surtal School and Hyde-based Ark of Hope.
