CIVIC Mayor of Tameside, Cllr Mike Glover, could not resist showing off his patriotism by grabbing a union flag as he attended jubilee celebrations at Hyde’s Grafton Centre.
Joined by Tameside colleagues, Cllrs Jacqueline Owen and Denise Ward, as well as Mayoress Anne Gordon, he joined users of the Grafton Street facility to toast the 70th anniversary.
Cllr Glover also gave a fine speech t those who attended the party.
