HYDE United has increased admission and season-ticket prices for the first time in four years.
For the 2022-23 season, general ground admission for adults rises from £10 to £12, Over-65s from £7 to £8 and 12-16 years from £5 to £7.
They were set at a board meeting when the directors discussed every aspect of anticipated income and expenditure and were mindful of the increased costs they were likely to face, including but not limited to utility bills.
The board also wanted to give the management team a competitive budget to avoid the roller- coaster season they had just experienced, and to be challenging at the other end of the table.

The club, in a statement said: “In order to achieve this, we looked both at cost savings and income, and we regret that we have to announce an increase in admission prices and season ticket prices for the first time in four years.
“The increase will bring us into line with the prices charged by many of the clubs in our league in 2021-22 season.”.
The new admission prices on the gate will be:
Adults £12
Over 65 £8
12-16 yr olds £7
Under-12 (must be accompanied by an adult) £1
New season ticket prices will be:
Standing Seating
Adults £199 £220
Over 65 £135 £155
12-16 yr olds £120 £135
The club added season-ticket prices are substantially discounted and represent great value, also entitling the holder to free entry to all home pre-season friendlies.
Season tickets expect to be on sale from June 1.
• Hyde’s average home attendance for 2021-22 season was 565, a sizeable increase from 419 in 2018-19, the last full season before Covid-19.
