I KNOW that for many Denton South residents life is not easy.
Having lived on the streets begging for food, escaped from North Korea and been tortured for the ‘crime’ of wanting freedom, I understand life can be hard and unfair.
Having chosen to make Denton my home, with my wife and daughter, I want to give back to the community that welcomed me so warmly.
Getting involved with local litter picks, volunteering at St Mary’s Food Bank and working at the local children’s summer camp, I have seen the beating heart of our community.
As your councillor I want to do more for you. I want to fight for your priorities at the town hall.
And, importantly, I want to save Two Trees from the bulldozers.
This valuable green space is the lung of Haughton Green – not just giving local residents somewhere to play and walk their dogs but helping keep our air clean and healthy.
In this election, you have the chance to vote for someone who will listen to you, stand up for you and make you their priority.
By electing me as your local councillor, I will work hard all year round.

I COULD not be prouder to not only be a strong voice for Denton South, but to also call it my home and the place I am bringing up my own family.
The pandemic sadly still leaves its mark, but now we have even more challenges: a cost-of-living crisis where families are dependent on food banks, many are facing job insecurity and our beloved green spaces are under threat.
In these difficult times it has never been more important to have someone standing up for you.
If I am re-elected, I promise to continue to do all I can to make Denton South the best possible place to grow up, get on and grow old.
We have achieved so much as a community – but there is still so much more to do.
