MOSSLEY AFC Running Club members took on the roads of Manchester and the hills of Saddleworth and much more in between in their latest races.
At the Manchester Marathon, months of diligent training paid off for Angela Wood who completed her first 26.2 miles in 5hrs, 23min and 19sec.

Husband-and-wife ultrarunners Stuart and Julie Williamson took on the CraggRunners 5 Trig Points which involved 3,000 feet of climbing across 18.5 miles of Delph and Saddleworth visiting five trig points along the way.
Julie completed the race in 5hrs 8min and 24sec with Stuart crossing the line right behind her (5:08:28).
Club members Sharon White, Nicola White and Stephanie Hannington took on the Rivington Trail 10-mile challenge.

This month lots of Mossley members have taken part in parkruns across the country with Daniel Wood and Lee Slingsby completing their 50th events.
