SOPHIA Vance and Freya Askham were the star performers for the Tameside School of Gymnastics (TSOG) in the first grading competition held since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sophia won the Greater Manchester and North West titles at grade five, coming away with two trophies.
Freya became the Greater Manchester grade three champion and both girls came away with distinctions.
Every one of the TSOG gymnasts passed their grades with flying colours during the competition which was held over two weekends with a range of ages and ability competing from grade six through to grade one.
For many, it was their first competition back since the pandemic.
