Your vote can help Mossley AFC win £10,000

MOSSLEY AFC need your vote as they bid to win £10,000 which will help you spend a penny on a visit to Emmaus Mossley Seel Park.

Clubs competing in The Buildbase FA Vase and FA Trophy are eligible to pitch for building supplies, including electrical equipment, worth £10,000 from the Buildbase Non-League Club Renovation Bursary.

The Lilywhites have made a submission for the supplies which will go to providing more toilets at the ground.

More than 60 non-league clubs have made pitches, but whether they win the cash depends on the support of fans.

The more votes Mossley receive – the closing date is this Friday (Feb 18) – the better the chance they have of winning.

Mossley need to be in the top 10 of votes to progress to the next stage.

As Mossley is the only Tameside team seeking the building supplies, they are asking football fans in the borough to give the club their support.

Director Matthew Hayton said: “The building supplies would go towards further improving our facilities.

“Please give us your vote as we need to be in the top 10 to have a chance.”

Mossley made a previous bid for materials from the Buildbase bursary when it was in a different format.

They were shortlisted and club officials Steve Tague and Harry Hulmes had to visit Wembley Stadium to make a pitch, but they failed to secure the cash.
