IN their first competition since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, youngsters from the Tameside School of Gymnastics (TSOG) came away from the Winter Wonderland with an impressive haul of medals.
The five-day event, for the floor and vault disciplines, was hosted by The Wire Gymnastics Club, Warrington, with more than 900 competitors taking part.

For some of the children, it was their first-ever competition and the whole team produced outstanding results.
And it was special for Georgie Lowndes, Lacey Hurst and Summer Dawson who achieved a clean sweep of gold medals in their events.
