A MAN at the centre of ‘old fashioned ‘wanted’ posters plastered across an area of Stalybridge has been jailed for six years.
Officers handed out images of Johnny Joyce and put them in shop windows and on shutters around Carrbrook as they tried to track him down.
Now after he was eventually arrested, he has been jailed after stabbing a man 10 times during a house party.

Greater Manchester officers made the visible appeal on behalf of the Derbyshire counterparts after the incident in Glossop in the early hours of September 21.
The victim – who was 22 years old at the time – suffered a punctured lung and was stabbed in the back, legs and kidney.
After a six-week hunt, 28-year-old Joyce was arrested by officers from GMP on Monday, November 1.
And he pleaded guilty to a charge of causing grievous bodily harm at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court.
Joyce, of Stephen Close, Stalybridge, was sentenced to six years in prison on Friday, January 12.
