TRADERS kicked off the annual Christmas shopping that people either love or loathe with a successful market in Stalybridge.
The Town Team and Little Owl Events attracted several stalls to Armentieres Square on Saturday, November 13.
And plenty of people liked the handmade selection of items that was on offer.
Given what is coming up, it was no surprise to see stallholders wearing Christmas jumpers and hats while selling the ubiquitous stockings.
Gift bags, decorations and gift boxes were also on offer, along with flowers, cosmetics, soaps and candles and wax melts.
Creators also showed off the jewellery, art, children’s clothes, woodwork and teddy bears.
For those looking for sustenance, pies, sausage rolls and cakes were also available.
Stalybridge Town Team was delighted with the response to the market, with more events in the pipeline.
