Man and woman charged with firearm and drug offences in Ashton-Under-Lyne

A MAN and woman have been charged with firearm and drug offences.

Daniel Goddard, 30, of Bishop Close, Ashton-Under-Lyne has been charged with; possession of a firearm without certificate, possession of a firearm when prohibited, possession of ammunition, acquiring using or possessing criminal property, and possession with intent to supply cocaine.

Taylor Davies, 23, of Bishop Close, Ashton-Under-Lyne has been charged with; Possession of a firearm without certificate, possession of ammunition, acquiring using or possessing criminal property, and possession with intent to supply cocaine.

magistrates that Owais first came to the attention of the local authority on March 8, 2019 when he took his vehicle for its six-monthly check at their Tame Street depot.

Both were remanded into custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court  (Thursday 25 November 2021).

On the morning of Thursday 18 November, officers executed a warrant at an address in the Bishop Close area of Ashton-Under-Lyne.

During a search of the property, an amount of Cocaine a Class A controlled substance was located, along with a converted firearm and ammunition.
