THE owners of a Mossley pub say its current closure is only temporary.
Time was called on regulars at the Best o’ Brass on Manchester Road earlier this year.
Months have passed without any sign of are-opening and there has been growing concern the last pints have already been pulled.
The ‘Brass’ is owned by West Midlands based community pub company Hawthorn, who have confirmed their intentions to the Correspondent.
A spokesperson for Hawthorn said: “We’re firm believers in the importance of community pubs.
“We would like to reassure locals we have no plans to close the Best o’ Brass.
“We’re currently searching for a great tenant to work with us in reopening this wonderful local pub.”
