AUBREY Padi, 46, of Carrfield, Hyde, has been charged with the murder of 43-year-old Tamara Padi.
Police were called at around 3.40am on Wednesday, July 7 by colleagues at NWAS requesting assistance at an address on Lake Road, Stalybridge.
Officers attended and enquiries established a woman in her 40s had been stabbed multiple times.
She was taken to hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead a short while later.
Padi has been remanded into custody, where he will appear at Manchester Magistrates court on Saturday, July 10.
