Mossley through the lens

KEEN amateur photographer Bob Hindley has just published his book at the age of 72.

‘Mossley’ is a collection of his works, both landscape and portrait.

Bob Hindley

Bob, who lives on the Mossley/Lydgate border, has included images which reflect the character of the town and including events such as the Whit walks and Mossley Fire Festival.

A beautiful shot on the iconic Hartshead Pike features on the cover and the landscapes cover all seasons.

Bob, who used to work in IT and security, also enjoy taking portrait shots and features individuals who live or work in the town.

Previously he has produced booklets of portraits taken on holiday, including ‘Gujarat Faces’ from a visit to India in 2019.

Bob has had difficulty distributing the book because of all potential outlets closed during lockdown.

The book, which sells for £12, is available on eBay and Bob’s website fotogen.uk
