A MAN has received a suspended prison sentence for possessing a Class B drug with intent to supply.
Tyler Devlin, of Whiteacre Road, Ashton, was convicted at Manchester Crown Court of possessing 1,816 grammes of cannabis.
The 10-month jail sentence was suspended for two years and Devlin, whose address at Tameside Magistrates Court was earlier given as Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield, was also ordered to carry out 50 hours unpaid work with a rehabilitation activity requirement of 15 days.
The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cannabis and drugs paraphernalia.
