TWO men and a woman are in serious condition in hospital following a road traffic collision in Tameside.
At approximately 10.20pm on Wednesday, January 6, officers were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving a blue Kia Ceed and a blue Renault Megane on Shepley Road, Audenshaw.
In the Kia, a man in his 30s suffered potentially life-changing injuries and a woman in her 60s suffered serious injuries.
A man from the Renault Megane also suffered minor injuries and a woman from the same vehicle suffered minor injuries.
All those with serious injuries remain in hospital at this time.
PC Oliver Batty, from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This was a serious collision which has left three people in hospital with serious and one with potentially life-changing injuries.
“Our thoughts remain with those injured and their families who are understandably worried.
“An investigation is currently underway and we’re now asking for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward.
“Anyone with information, or has dashcam footage, or anyone who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision, is asked to call 0161 856 4741 quoting log 2643 of 06/01/21.
