IT is often joked you must be barking mad to watch Stalybridge Celtic.
Walter, the two-and-and-half year old pug cross bison fries, can vouch for that and was distinctly unimpressed when he was dragged along to his first Celtic match on a chilly autumnal evening.
Walter, who was shivering with cold, ended up wrapped in the coat of owner Zoe Wells and watched the game held in her arms.
Zoe, whose son Michael Sharp is a matchday steward at the club, is a regular at Bower Fold.
She usually leaves Walter at home but, with nobody to look after him on the night Celtic played Bishop Auckland in the Emirates FA Cup, Zoe thought she had no option but to take him along to the match.
