MOSSLEY-BASED company Ethical Education Enterprise CIC has received funding from the European Social Fund to deliver free courses for the unemployed, particularly those affected by Covid-19.From mid-October, they will be running a series of online modules including dealing with your first day at work, motivation and personal development and health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The course will conclude with learners being able to take two fully accredited level two qualifications from a choice of the following five:
• QNUK Level 2 Health and safety in the
• QNUK Level 2 The principles of manual
• QNUK Level 2 Food safety in catering
• QNUK Level 2 Customer services
• QNUK Level 2 Safeguarding adults in
health and social care.
Learners will receive support with any transport costs related to the exams, to get to the Covid-safe classroom.
On successful completion of all modules and two hours of one-to-one support with a careers advisor; learners will also receive a free Amazon Kindle 5 to aid them in their job searching.
To be eligible learners must be able to access the internet with a platform capable of running a Zoom meeting, be aged 18 or over and resident in Greater Manchester, be unemployed, economically inactive or at risk of redundancy and be legally resident in the UK and can take up paid employment within the EU.
