Story telling sessions back by popular demand

BOWING to popular demand, Tameside Libraries’ are bringing back their highly popular Story Makers sessions for a fourth time.

From Tuesday, October 6, families will be able to enjoy all the usual fun with Simon the Storyteller. The new theme is “Be Kind” and everything will be digitally delivered via Zoom.

Story Makers, which is especially designed for pre-school children, fits in with the Tameside Loves Reading campaign. Families who take part have the opportunity to work with award-winning writer Caryl Hart and illustrator Andy Rowland to create a children’s picture book of which they’ll receive a complimentary copy when the project concludes.

  • Tuesdays 10 to 10.30am
  • Tuesdays 1.30 to 2pm
  • Wednesdays 10 to 10.30am
  • Wednesdays  1.30 to 2.30pm
