The Windsor Road side is one of three that have been told to shut their doors as of today (Thurs, Aug 6).
Droylsden and Ashton are also affected by the positive test for Covid-19 on orders on both the Greater Manchester Cricket League and England and Wales Cricket Board.
A statement from the GMCL said: “Due to a positive test all activity at Droylsden CC, Ashton CC and Denton West CC will cease with immediate effect for seven days from today.
“No matches, no practice, junior or senior and clubhouses to be closed. This is upon instruction from ECB.
“Test and Trace will contact those recorded as present by the home clubs involved.
“Matches can be rearranged to later dates where venue and teams available. We are finalising the situation regarding clubs connected to other participants in those games.”
