MOSSLEY’S latest sportsman’s dinner raised £5,135 for the football club.
Vice-chairman Callum Irving was delighted describing it as a “great figure and a great effort by all” with the proceeds coming from from ticket sales, auctions and collections during the night.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Alex Stepney, a member of the 1968 European Cup winning team, was guest speaker and the comedian John Stiles, son of Old Trafford legend Nobby.
