Kind-hearted Holden Clough Primary pupils say thank you to key-workers

TWO Ashton-Under-Lyne primary school students have gone above and beyond to express their thanks to key workers and for their efforts in the community during the coronavirus crisis.

An earlier visit to Hurst Hall Care Home had a significant impact on youngsters Neev and Lois, of Holden Clough Community Primary School, so much so that they felt compelled to act.

The two spent several hours hand-making cards for the care home staff, with Neev also handwriting messages to them and to the residents in each one.

So determined were they to spread messages of support and positivity that they have sent a card to every care home in Tameside and Glossop!

Also on their list of recipients is their local Hospital and NHS Trust, Social Services and local Asda supermarket thanking them for what they are doing for the community.

Well done Neev and Lois!
