IT was Halloween horror at St Mary’s RC Church, Denton, after vandals struck.
Stained glass windows at the listed church were broken after two pumpkins were thrown through them.
Father Peter Kinsella explained it was the first incident of vandalism the church has experienced.
“They weren’t thrown by little children as the windows were high up and would have required strength,” he said.
Father Peter added the windows have been repaired but he has not received the bill.
“It is coloured class so it will be expensive,” he said.
