Abbey hang their reputation on quality, service and price

A COMPANY whose watch words are quality, service and price has longevity and reputation to back up its claim to be one of the North West’s leading manufacturers and fitters of blinds.

From their 10,000 square foot premises close to the Stockport/Tameside border, Abbey Blinds serve both domestic and trade customers.Having been in business for more than two decades, this family owned company is definitely doing something right.

From humble beginnings in a small unit in Great Moor, Abbey now employs 15 staff at its Haigh Avenue unit on the Whitehill Industrial Estate, Reddish.

It manufactures all its own products and boasts a quality control system ensuring maximum satisfaction for its ever-growing customer base.

“We are a quality blinds company manufacturing for the trade as well as our own customers,” said co-owner Darren Aspinall.

“Because people deal directly with us as a manufacturing company, you can buy quality for not much more than going to a budget company. We believe we represent ultimate, true value for money.

“And that comes from being a family run business since we started in 1997 on Buxton Road.

“We had a small retail outlet and manufactured vertical blinds and roller blinds. Everything else we used to outsource.

“But now we pretty much make everything ourselves.

“You can buy quality, you can buy it at the right price and we can give you a first-class service.
“If you do a Google search you will see we are a first class rated company.

“You don’t get five star rated companies if you are in the budget market.”

So, if it is blinds for your conservatory, office, bedroom, study or every room in between, Abbey step up to the plate.

“We give the longest guarantees in the industry,” added Darren, who owns the company with business partner Lee Greenwood.

“Vertical and roller blinds for example come with a lifetime guarantee.

“The products we use we have complete trust and faith in. Average blinds company will give you a one-year guarantee.”

Abbey moved to their current headquarters three-and-a-half years ago.

They are currently undertaking a major refurbishment of their showroom and future initiatives could include expansion of their current site.

“We continue to expand and refine our own manufacturing operations to ensure consumers receive a product that provides total satisfaction in both design and performance,” added Darren. “A lot of business comes from repeat and recommendation.

“If someone buys a quality product, it doesn’t let them down and they have a good service, there’s every reason they will recommend you to their friends and family.

“We are very confident our prices and pedigree will not leave our customers disappointed.”
