TAMESIDE Pride 2019 promises to be the borough’s biggest-ever celebration of our diversity and equality.
Pride will take place between noon and 6pm on Saturday, July 6, in Cheetham’s Park, Stalybridge.
As well as a large family fun day of attractions the park will play host to live entertainment, food outlets, a range of stalls and the BarPop all-day bar.
Cllr Leanne Feeley, Tameside Council’s executive member with responsibility for equalities, said: “I hope as many people as possible will join us in Stalybridge on July 6. Pride is a wonderful celebration of diversity and all the things that make our borough the open, progressive place it is to live and work.”
Cllr Oliver Ryan, chair of Tameside Pride, added: “I’m so proud Tameside is doing Pride properly and that Stalybridge is hosting us this year. Our diversity is our strength and Pride is important, not only for our LGBT+ community, but for all. Please come along and join in the fun of our party in the park.”
